Biography
Assefach Haileselassie is a senior psychologist, Certified Management Consultant, business development advisor, migration & human trafficking expert. Asefach has over 30 years of working experience in International Organization (IOM), Goal Ethiopia an International NGO as a program manager and in various positions. She focuses on Psycho-educating society and aspires in brining societal behavioral change through various media outlets, training and writing books and articles in international journals. Asefach is the author of two books focusing on parenting & marriage. She is a certified Entrepreneurship trainer, business advisor & transformative leadership trainer. Asefach has served in International organizations, UN agencies & government institutions. She served as a president of the Ethiopian Psychology Association (EPA) & Soropotemist International Club in Ethiopia. Asefach is the founding and executive board member of the Pan African Psychology Union (PAPU). She is serving as board of director for Lion International Bank. S.C. and serving as a board member in New Millennium for Women Empowerment Organization (NMWEO). Due to her passion to serve humanity & empower women, she co-founded organization for Women In-Self-Development (Shine-WISD) in November 2023 and currently serving as Executive Directress. Asefach is married and a mother of three, one daughter and two sons and one granddaughter.
