Biography
Mulubrhan Abera Abreha is a distinguished, senior-level humanitarian leader and economic development strategist with over 23 years of experience driving multisectoral program coordination, livelihood resilience, and enterprise growth. As the founder and lead of Bright Bee Organic and Raw Honey Farm PLC, she champions sustainable agriculture and the development of natural herbal wellness products. Throughout her impactful career, Mulubrhan has specialized in managing complex economic security and food resilience initiatives within highly volatile, conflict-affected environments.
Her extensive leadership portfolio includes serving as an Economic Security Generalist II with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), a Development Program Manager for World Vision Ethiopia, and the Regional Coordinator for the UNDP Entrepreneurship Development Center (EDC) in the Tigray region. Additionally, she has steered impactful youth and digital gig economy initiatives as a Regional Field Coordinator for the USAID CATALYZE 4G program and the EDGE Program with Hybrid Design PLC.
Deeply committed to gender equity and community empowerment, Mulubrhan also chairs the Shine Organization (Shine WISD), dedicated to women's self-development and socioeconomic advancement. She brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, multi-million dollar grant management, stakeholder engagement, and local capacity building to the board. Mulubrhan holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
